Harbor Island is an unique location. It is NOT a location to find crowds, noise or traffic. It IS the location for a wonderfully quiet beach trip. In a wonderful natural background, our island is perhaps the best concealed on the East coastline. This is a personal, gated neighborhood with 24 hour security and a friendly location where people state hello and wave at you from their vehicles. The virtually 3 mile long gorgeous beach is never crowded. Flip flops, sand between your toes and sun in your eyes. Similar to 'The Good Ole Days': quiet, no crowds and no traffic. Leave your fears behind, take off that tie, work boots, or high heels and turn off that cell phone too. You will not require them right here. If you should get online there is complimentary WiFi. Our condominium is perfect for unwinding and well equipped. Kick back, put your feet up and unwind. Have a glass of wine, a cold beer or some sweet tea on our beach front deck and enjoy the breathtaking ocean view. Go to bed after dark with the windows open and hear the waves spraying on the beach, then wake up to the most stunning sunups anywhere then go for an early beach walk with your coffee and look for turtle tracks. Exactly what a method to begin the morning! There's lots to do. Fishing, shrimping, crabbing, swimming and shelling at one of the swimming pools at either end of the building or the Olympic size pool and a kids's swimming pool at the Beach and Racquet Club just a couple minutes stroll away. The 4 pools are open April 1 through October 31. The Beach and Racquet club likewise has a gym you can use, a play area for children and bikes for rent. Remember to bring the beach towels and toys! There's nature galore; nesting birds, gators (do not feed them!) ghost crabs at dusk, seagulls flying low just waiting for some bread crumbs and even a pair of Osprey's nesting near the crabbing dock. For even more nature check out Hunting Island State Park, it's simply throughout the river. There's so much to do therefore little time. Make the finest of every minute and delight in! Our condo has actually a well geared up contemporary kitchen area with a breakfast bar. Throughout the renovation the first floor was changed to an open layout. There is a dinning area, household space area and powder room downstairs too. The second floor has 2 bedrooms each with its own full bath. The bedroom has a king size bed, huge eight foot broad window overlooking the ocean and a shower that has two shower heads, among which is a rainfall shower head. The second bed room has two twin size beds and a combined tub and shower. There are flat screen TVs and BluRay gamers in the family room and each room. Free W-Fi just for our visitors. Free calling to the 50 states, which is necessary because mobile phone protection is spotty. There is a washer and dryer in the condominium too. Our condominium is strictly non-smoking. We respectfully demand that if any individual in your group smokes that you do not rent our condominium. This is not an industrial property however is our personal condo and we stay there often.
