The log house forgets Chippewa Bay, the islands and Little Chippewa Point. The surrounding woodlands consist of mature oaks, pines, and dogwoods. This area is ideal for households, little retreat groups, household reunions, and artists or writers who need a peaceful trip. Our personal access roadway has nearly no car traffic. Nature lovers will delight in the peaceful, quiet, personal area. You can park your boat, fish, or simply relax on our 36' long boat dock and our 150' shoreline. You can take pleasure in boating, swimming, fishing, sailing, nature photography, cycling, or just unwinding in the solitude of our woody peninsula. Tranquil Chippewa Bay is famous for its fishing-walleye, northern pike, smallmouth, perch and largemouth bass, muskie, crappie, bluegill, channel cats, bullhead, and carp. We're a brief boat flight to Singer Castle, Boldt Castle, boat marinas, boat rentals, and directed tours. Enjoy river breezes and barbeque on our gas grill on the large wrap-around provided deck neglecting the bay. Large, totally equipped nation kitchen with 2 sinks, a dishwasher, a full-sized refrigerator/freezer, and lots of counter area. The dining room watches out over the river. AVAILABILITY: the log house has a wheel chair ramp to the entryway and bedrooms on the first floor, but the restrooms are only available by walker. 2 citizens in wheelchairs who were able to use a walker to access the bathroom found the accommodations comfortable. The house is not wheelchair accessible. The dock is just easily accessible by stairs or by boat. The Thousand Islands region is a scenic part of New York State's Seaway Trail. Come experience some of the Empire State's natural, recreational, historic, and cultural resources.
