The island has seating for 3 on the chair side where you face out to the floor to ceiling windows toward the east. Four more can seat around the rest of the island. This kitchen / dining room has amazing views for the cooks and all the friends. It is the primary gathering place for the group. There is a flat panel TV as well. It is surrounded by windows and has a deck out to the BBQ. The rest of the house is great as well. A second living area with lots of room, plenty of seating and a bonus futon in front of the fireplace. The views here are as good as the dining area.
