Are you ready for a relaxing, quiet vacation - our cabin is the perfect get-away from it all!For Rent - 3 BR Cabin, with all amenities in Shade Gap, PA (right off of Route 641- approx 1 hr west of Carlisle). This cabin sleeps 8 with 3 Bedrooms, (2 with Dbl, and 1 with 2 sets of bunks), 1 bath with tub/shower, includes bed linens, kitchen with full fridge, stove, microwave, coffee pot, cookware, dishes, utensils, etc, satellite tv, washer, air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, back deck with outdoor furniture, volleyball, badminton, horseshoes & fire pit, games & puzzles. Must bring own bath and kitchen towels. We provide a starter of toilet paper and paper towels.Cabin is located: 15 miles from Cowans Gap State Park (http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/cowansgap.aspx) which has a lake for swimming and fishing, hiking and paddle boats.approx. 30 miles from Raystown Lake (http://www.raystownlake.com/) which has swimming, a water park, miniature golf and boat rentals.approx. 30 miles from Trough Creek State Park ve (http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/troughcreek.aspx).approx. 30 miles for Lincoln Caverns (http://lincolncaverns.com/)Orbisonia is approx. 5 miles and famous for the East Broadtop Railrod where you can take a ride through the valley and back. http://www.ebtrr.com/Nearby Restaurants: Path Valley Family Restaurant -Left on Route 641 and just over mountain to blinking light at intersection of Route 75Sunny Ridge Station Restaurant -Right on 641 - then take left on 522 - approx 2 miles......Pizza Star Restaurant in Orbisonia - right on 641 then right on 522 - approx 5 milesIn Orbisonia you will also find: Hardware store, Martins General Store and other craft and gift storesJust outside of Orbisonia on 522 there is a small shopping center which includes: Sandy Ridge Grocery Store, Dollar General, Subway and Parks Furniture StoreIn the summer there is an ice cream shop just past the shopping center on the left which has fantastic soft serve ice creamm great cheesesteaks, burgers and onion rings, etc.Rent is $450/wk or $75/night if renting for less than a week.The cabin is available for rent from May 1, 2013 through September 30, 2013.
