She is JUST ACROSS THE STREET from the BEACH (How Sweet is That?) and only two blocks from the Famous Bert's Market where you can buy anything from ice, to batteries, to organic vegetables, sushi and craft beer! Also, two blocks away is a wonderful Public Playground ,Tennis and Basketball Court. At Folly Beach, you will discover the beauty and diversity of our quaint beach town! Referred to as the 'Edge of America', the town of Folly is very casual, and the locals are friendly. You will enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets, rich history, good food, expansive beaches, and a town center pier for fishing and sightseeing. Within steps of each other on Center Street, you'll find many restaurants, from upscale to the cool dive. Seafood is always fresh and available everywhere; but no fear, for the non-connoisseur there are taco shops and burger bars. Cool shops abound. And, surfing is big here, so bring your board or sign up for a lesson.A clean and beautiful beach, there is plenty to do at Folly with wonderful swimming, surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sun bathing, people watching, finding seashells, running and biking on the beach, and just doing what you want to do. And, if too sunburned, the charming and historic Charleston is just a short drive away. There you can enjoy some of the best restaurants on the East coast, explore the French Market, picnic at Waterfront or take a horse drawn carriage ride through the Holy City. Do some shopping on King Street, stroll through one of our beautiful museums, take a sunset cruise through the harbor or stop by one of the city's hot spots to people watch (including celebrities!)
