It is secluded, surrounded by serene desert, wildlife and a seasonal stream along the back of the property. Enjoy the best of Tucson living with the outdoor fireplace, pool, spa, BBQ, horseshoe pit, hammock and amazing mountain views. A 5-minute walk takes you to the Agua Caliente Park, featuring a natural hot springs lake, ducks, turtles and walking trails. Enjoy the sounds of birds, watch roadrunners, chipmonks and rabbits hopping all around... then get ready for a treat... the most incredible sunsets in the world!The guesthouse is furnished to a high standard with Southwestern touches throughout, along with original artwork by the owner. The living area features a fully retractable glass door which opens onto a brick patio, with picturesque views. Enjoy the modern equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and jetted bathtub in the master suite. Experience the feeling of being the Wild, Wild West, yet shopping, groceries, coffee shops, restaurants, golf and hiking are just minutes away.Also on the same property is an upstairs apartment, with private spiral staircase, which sleeps 2-4. This unit has a kitchenette, access to washer/dryer and large balcony patio overlooking the pool, with spectacular mountain views. It's only 15 minutes from downtown Tucson and the accommodations are fantastic! I considered staying at a 5 star resort, but so glad I didn't. It was like a vacation in paradise. The sunsets are breath taking and the view is one of the best in Tucson. Best of all was the privacy and peacefulness of my stay. I love taking a walk around the Agua Caliente park, at the end of the driveway. This has to be one of the secret getaway spots in Tucson. We absolutely love the place. Some of the reasons: the peace and solitude, the spectacular views, especially the sunsets, the proliferation of birds and other wildlife, the ability to take walks and bike in the neighbourhood, the unique decor of the rooms and the yard, the friendliness of the landlady and her family, the proximity to Agua Caliente Park and to so many other amenities. Our friends and family love to visit us here. I have been here for the Fall, Winter and Spring and it has been a perfect place for me. It is peaceful, yet fun because Barbara is the greatest hostess. I walk everyday to the Agua Caliente Park and in the wash behind the house and watch birds, or ride my mountain bike on the dirt roads into the hills. This place has all the nice amenities, yet is relaxed and comfortable. I love watching the hummingbirds at the feeders and having a campfire in the yard.
