The home is two stories with a game room, 4 full baths, 4 bedrooms, a washer/dryer, an open floor plan for the kitchen, dining and living area. The floor plan of 3400+ square feet allows groups or multiple families to sleep comfortably. We have snowshoes, sleds and board games for your enjoyment. Kirkwood is a very dog friendly resort. We allow dogs IF they are potty trained and you take responsibility for your pet. Kirkwood resort has lots to offer with some of the best skiing in California for beginners to experts due to its high elevation, great snow and varied terrain. The ski lifts are moments away. A free shuttle will take you from our driveway to the lifts and back again. 5K of groomed cross country ski trails are right outside the door in the meadow. 50K of cross country trails can be accessed at the x-country center which is a five minute walk. Other winter activities available are dog sledding, sledding and snow shoeing. Kirkwood in the summer is an amazing place with lots of wildflowers, hiking and biking. Kirkwood offers lift assisted mountain biking on the slopes. Silver lake, Caples lake and Kirkwood lake are within minutes of our house for hours of swimming, fishing and boating. You can also enjoy horseback riding at Kirkwood stables. South Lake Tahoe is an easy 30 minute drive away. Downstairs: Game room with ping pong table, TV, DVD and VCR player, X box, couch, pillows and floor space. 1 bed room with queen bed and private full bathroom. 1 bedroom with 3 beds: a double bed and a bunk bed. Full bathroom. Laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Upstairs: Bunk room: 2 sets of bunk beds, 1 stand alone double bed, a TV and DVD player. 1 bedroom with king bed with private bathroom. Full bathroom. Open living area with kitchen, dining, living room, wood stove and breakfast nook.
