It is a single household, 4 bedroom, home located on the west.side of Cayuga Lake, just minutes from Seneca Falls (13 miles) and Ithaca (25 miles). It is close to the wineries on both Cayuga and.Seneca Lakes. Developed in 1843, it has vintage appeal with all the contemporary benefits. You can find lots of antiques and period furnishings.as you move from room to space. The house is totally provided with 2 rooms downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs. There are 2 complete bathrooms, one on each floor,.a first floor utility room with washer and dryer, a recently remodeled, eat-in completely geared up kitchen with brand-new appliances consisting of a.dishwasher, a huge official dining space and living-room. The living space has a sofa bed which can be used if additional resting.accommodations are required. A door in among the downstairs bedrooms opens to stone patio that is entirely fenced in. There is plenty of.parking, a red barn, a huge yard with several mature trees to shade you from the sun, 3 stone patio areas, picnic table and chairs, and front porch. Across the road and 50 steps down, you will certainly find 218 feet of lakefront with a shale beach, a new dock with a ladder, a canoe with paddles for.your use, and a large deck with picnic table and chairs neglecting the water. Delight in a campfire on the beach or in the fire pit behind.the residence. There is no telephone land line but mobile phone reception is excellent. Cigarette smoking is prohibited inside your home. Conservative use of the.septic system, water and electrical power is valued. Although the house is not child-proof, youngsters rate. Tenancy is restricted.to 10 optimum on the home. The 1843 House is offered year-round with a 1 week minimum stay from June 23 through Labor Day. During the remainder of the year, your house is offered by the night, weekend, week, month or long term. Rates are "Housekeeping Ready". You have to bring your own linens and towels (blankets and pillows are provided) and clean your house to.the very same or better condition you found it in. Due to a few demands, we can occasionally provide towels and linens and clean after you leave.for an added fee. Happy inquire.
