It is a single household, 4 bedroom, home located on the west.side of Cayuga Lake, just minutes from Seneca Falls (13 miles) and Ithaca (25 miles). It is close to the wineries on both Cayuga and.Seneca Lakes. Constructed in 1843, it has vintage charm with all the modern benefits. You can discover lots of antiques and period furnishings.as you move from room to space. Our home is entirely provided with 2 bed rooms downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs. There are 2 complete restrooms, one on each floor,.a very first floor laundry space with washer and dryer, a recently remodeled, eat-in totally geared up kitchen area with brand-new appliances consisting of a.dishwasher, a large formal dining room and living-room. If extra sleeping, the living room has a sleeper sofa which can be utilized.lodgings are required. A door in one of the downstairs bed rooms opens to stone patio area that is totally fenced in. There is a lot of.parking, a red barn, a big lawn with a number of mature trees to shade you from the sun, 3 stone outdoor patios, picnic table and chairs, and front porch. Throughout the road and 50 steps down, you will find 250 feet of lakefront with a shale beach, a brand-new dock with a ladder, a canoe with paddles for.your use, and a large deck with picnic table and chairs ignoring the water. Delight in a campfire on the beach or in the fire pit behind.your house. There is no telephone land line but mobile phone reception is excellent. Smoking cigarettes is restricted inside your house. Conservative use of the.septic tank, water and electrical energy is valued. Although our home is not child-proof, kids rate. Tenancy is restricted.to 10 maximum on the home. The 1843 House is offered year-round with a 1 week minimum remain fromJune 23 through Labor Day. During the rest of the year, your home is.available by the night, weekend, week, month or long term. Rates are "Housekeeping Ready". You need to bring your very own linens and towels (blankets and pillows are supplied) and clean your home to.the same or much better condition you discovered it in. Due to a few demands, we can often provide linens and towels and clean after you leave.for an extra cost. Please inquire.
