Bear Inn the Woods is also a wonderful base to explore the area--waterfalls, state parks, Herkimer Diamond Mines, historical sites, brewery tour, art museum. Old Forge--center of the Adirondacks is a short 1/2 hour away (Water Safari Park, mini-golf, boat rentals and cruises, tourist and craft shops).Rent a room for the night, a weekend or a full week. Rates start at $75 per night per couple and always include our full country breakfast in the morning. Need more space or privacy?
