This ranch was once the home of a famed flying legend; thousands of acres, located in the middle of the Golden State.There is nothing like this! Fly your airplane onto a private ranch with a paved runway (CA03); or drive two hours from San Francisco, or 4 1/2 hours from Los Angeles. Your ranch house features three, comfortable, bedrooms - each with views of the great outdoors, and a separate guest house with another, large bedroom. (There are a total of 7 beds on the ranch, including the two, in the guest house.) Additional beds can be added, if needed.Enjoy exploring the range in a variety of vehicles, or walk out your doors, and into the pasture, for an impromptu "nature experience". Interspersed among the cattle, birder watchers can see a variety of hawks, owls, songbirds, and migrating birds. An occasional coyote or bobcat, in the underbrush, may also be seen. This ranch has many treasures. There are seasonal creeks, small lakes, and cliffs: Indian Rocks, Chinese Rocks, Eagle Tree, Fishing Hole, and more. Picnics and outings are encouraged. Wildflower season starts in Feb and runs through June.Relax, by the fire with a glass of California wine while you read, play cards, or enjoy a puzzle. Reconnect with your loved ones or bond for better business relations. Toss a football or baseball, or play croquette on the long, green grass, or bring along a kite or a remote controlled airplane. Or, bring your shotguns for a clay pigeon competition, or target practice. In season hunting and fishing is permitted, with prior consent of owner, and appropriate fees/permits/tags.$12,000 includes two dinners for two to ten people; as well as two lunches, and two breakfasts - served continental style. Cigars, cocktails and California wines with locally grown snacks, are also included.Like a safari in Africa, a tour of the ranch will highlight wildlife and geological formations that are unique to the area. A tour of a neighboring farm, or dairy can be added, at no additional cost.Massage, yoga, bike riding, horseback riding and babysitting, but must be booked a week in advance. Horseback riding is limited to advanced riders, only.
