Fees begin September 1st and go til November! Canary Beach Resort, www.canarybeachresort.com is 15 miles south of Alexandria on Lake Villard or about 45 minutes west of St. Cloud. We are a household resort with 10 lakefront cabins/vacation homes. I have to state that our greatest possession is our beach. Over 900 feet of sandy shoreline simply ideal for making or unwinding sand castles. Our activities include: hayrides, shuffleboard, horseshoes, dock fishing, sand volleyball, play area, game room/store, basketball hoop, and canoe. There is likewise a 20 mile paved bike trail that starts in Villard, the Centennial Trail and we have cordless internet readily available in the lodge. All cabins are on the lake with complete kitchen areas, tvs with Direct TELEVISION, air conditioning and bath towels. We have 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms cabins/vacation houses. Each system is distinct! We have actually hosted Bachelor and Bachelorette celebrations. Also, MEA get-a-ways, "Holiday House" getaways, Girl's Get-a-ways, Snowmobiling groups, Men's Ice Fishing/hunting weekends and scrapbooking/crafting/quilting retreats.
