Walk out your front door, walk half a block and then follow the short path to the 5-mile-long Morro Strand State Beach. This rental has lots of space -- a very large living room, a large and open kitchen/dining room and 2 spacious bedrooms. This property is a duplex with the 2-bedroom, 1 bath vacation rental in the front of the property. You will have exclusive use of the front patio area and one off-street parking space in the driveway on the side of the units. The second unit of the property is in the back and is occupied by full time tenants who may or may not be in residence while you are there. There is excellent soundproofing between the units and a separate entrance through the garage for the back unit so you will be assured of complete privacy.The house flows very nicely with the common living areas to the left of the entry hall and the bedrooms and bathroom to the right so there is plenty of separation if you want to go retreat to the bedroom for a nap, to watch TV or to read that great book you brought on vacation. Oh, and did I mention that one of the bedrooms has its own fireplace? There is also a beautiful energy-efficient granite fireplace in the living room that provides the primary heat for the whole house. Each room has a ceiling fan so there is never an issue with staying cool when it is warm or moving the heat around when it is cooler. One of the best things about this home is the outdoor living space. While sitting on the comfortable patio chairs enjoying your lunch or a cocktail in the evening, you will be able see and hear the beautiful crashing ocean waves and smell the salt air. There is a gas barbeque grill in this area so you can be cooking dinner while enjoying the waves.This property is managed by Beach-N-Bay Getaways, a company that manages only premium vacation properties. It has 2 comfortable sofas and a loveseat so your whole group can hang out and watch TV or play games. When you get ready to cook, you are going to be thrilled! The large kitchen allows multiple cooks in the kitchen and it is equipped with all the top-of-the-line appliances, pots and pans, utensils and spices that you need to make a gourmet meal. An added bonus in this kitchen is the Viking convection oven provided in addition to a conventional oven. The dining room table will easily accommodate your whole party and if the big football game or golf match should be on TV during dinner, don't worry. There is even a TV in the dining room!Both bedrooms are spacious and nicely furnished. One bedroom has a queen-size bed, plenty of closet and dresser space and a TV. The other bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, a fireplace and French doors that open onto the front patio area. It is also equipped with a TV.This area offers so many outdoor activities -- biking, hiking, surfing, kayaking, exploring the ocean tidepools and much more. There are also many cultural programs offered through Cal Poly and the local artists groups in the area. And if you are a connoisseur of wine, you don't want to miss tasting in the Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo wine regions.
