GREAT GIFT IDEA FOR ANY OCCASIONI am renting out my exchanged timeshare unit for the Marriott's Aruba Ocean Club on Palm Beach in Aruba for the prime time dates of April 9-16, 2012 for $1200.00. These accommodations are for a 941 square foot- 1 bedroom unit that has 1 king size bed in the bedroom, and a pull out queen sofa in the living room. The unit has central air, a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, dishes, coffee maker, telephone, Satellite TV, DVD player, safe, radio/alarm, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and balcony. The regular room charge for a 1 bedroom during these dates is over $600 per night plus a 20% tax. That's a savings of over $4,000 in your pocket. There are laundry facilities on site as well as a health club, beach, pool, and bar.Guests of the Aruba Ocean Club have access to the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. The Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino has several spas, pool with a cascading waterfall, shopping, and Las Vegas style entertainment.Marriott Aruba Ocean Club offers fine amenities including a sand volley ball court, a free-form pool, and an outdoor hot tub. There are outdoor BBQ grills available for guest use. There is also a convenience store on site.I stayed in a 1 bedroom unit at the Marriott Ocean Club in March 2005 and loved the resort. I have a couple of more pictures I could email over if requested. The resort charges approximately $10.28 per day resort fee. This fee will charged on your credit card upon check out.Check in time is 4pm and check out is 10am. The airport is 7 miles from the Surf Club. A taxi cab is approximately $25.00 from the airport to the Ocean Club.There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the Ocean Club. The Pelican's Nest on the Pier and Tony Roma's are both located next door at the Holiday Inn hotel. The Smokey Joe's Island Grill is on the main drag just up from the Holiday Inn- it's very reasonably priced and has great BBQ chicken and ribs. The Le Petite Cafe is located on the main drag in front of the Playa Linda Resort, and both the Tango Grill and Salt & Pepper are located on the main drag across from the Hyatt Hotel. All of these restaurants are very good.There is a golf course nearby.
