Downhill and Cross Country Skiers - We are offering a fully modernized one bedroom vacation rental cottage (large enough to accomodate 1 or 2 people comfortably) called "PINE COVE" which is located directly on Lake Algonquin in Wells New York. No highways to cross or miles to hike before you reach the frozen lake for your cross-country skiing or snowshoeing adventure. Walk out the door of this beautiful vacation getaway and you are at the frozen waters edge of Lake Algonquin. Our cottage, "PINE COVE", is located in the Town of Wells New York in Hamilton County in the protected New York State Adirondack Park. For winter downhill or cross country skiing, the cottage is only 40 minutes from GORE MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT in North Creek New York and 15 minutes from OAK MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT in Speculator New York and LAPLAND LAKE CROSS- COUNTRY SKI CENTER in Northville New York. If you want to stay close to the cottage, you can cross-country ski or snowshoe right on the lake itself.There is absolutely no smoking allowed in the cottage and no pets are allowed in the cottage or on the property grounds. The cottage is immaculately clean and "Environmentally Safe" free of any deodorizers, fragranced products or air fresheners so it is suitable for renters with environmental allergies or who may be chemically sensitive.The $125.00 per night rate is good for a minimum stay of two nights. A single night stay is $150.00. For winter skiers, we are offering a 5 Night "Special Rental Package" for $500.00. The "Special Rental Package" is for the months of December 2011 through April 2012 and includes a complimentary BOTTLE OF WINE ( red or white - tenants choice ) or a supply of bottled water if you prefer. If you can't stay for 5 nights, we also offer a 3 Night "Long Weekend Special" which is $325.00 and it also comes with a complimentary BOTTLE OF WINE. All rental contracts require a $50.00 refundable deposit.
