Shelter Island is nestled in between the North and South Forks of Long Island. It is surrounded on 3 sides by Shelter Island Sound and on the fourth side by Gardiners Bay and can be reached via ferry from Greenport to the north or from North Haven to the south. Two just recently renovated and extremely lovely spaces in a separate wing of private house found in a special community are offered to rent on a weekly or daily basis. The spaces are tastefully embellished and have a queen size bed, personal bathrooms, air conditioning, flat screen TELEVISION with Cable, Wi-Fi, coffee maker, refrigerator, and a different entrance. The spaces share a personal deck and have private parking. Blankets, towels, and bedding are offered. Our spaces offers visitors a tranquil and quiet spot for a remarkable vacation just 100 miles from New York City, with simple access to the surrounding restaurants, shops, Mashomack Nature Preserve and is just brief drive to the Hamptons, Orient Point and Montauk. You can drive to Shelter Island and take the ferryboat from either Greenport or Sag Harbor if you have a car and do not mind the traffic. If you do not have an automobile, you can take the train to Greenport train station and we can select you up from the North Ferry terminal on Shelter Island after you cross over. Fees for M1: $140/night for weekday, $160/night for weekend (Fri, Sat);.Rates for M2: $120/night for weekday, $140/night for weekend (Fri, Sat);. All rates are for single or double tenancy. There is a two night minimum on weekends and a 3 night minimum for Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor day. No pet dogs or smokers. Kindly call or e-mail for accessibility.
