Canal's End Cottage is a relaxing getaway from the city, best for little households or couples. Private, however near to all the Buckeye Lake action. Bring your watercraft or lease a pontoon or fishing boat close by. Comfortably rests 4 in the 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and one full bed), optimum 6 persons, with fold-out futon and sofa bed in living room. Enjoy fixing morning meal, treats or beverages in the granite-counter cooking area with all cooking materials. Sip cool beverages on the screened-in porch. Grill steaks and shrimp on the barbie, then eat out on the big waterfront deck. Bring your poles and deal with box and capture fish right from the dock. Bike over to Shell Beach, a sandy lakefront beach nearby. The Beachcomber restaurant/bar and The Buckeye Lake Winery are a brief walk/bike ride away. Catch up on reading or watch DVDs. Enjoy a bonfire in the fire ring. Parking offered in back of the cottage for 2 automobiles maximum. Amenities include bedroom linens, grill, furnished kitchen area, towels, paper products, beach towels. Boat rentals readily available close by. Laundry facilities offered in Millersport. Little community is best for walking or cycling. Summer rates through Labor Day: 2-night minimum rental, $150/night Sun-Thurs, $175/night Friday-Sat. $200 refundable deposit.
