Angel Fire New Mexico at 8600' is a quaint Alpine ski area in the Moreno Valley and is 25 miles east of Taos,. The ski area has all levels of ski runs, snow boarding and tubing. The ski runs have over a 2000' drop from the top. It is approximately 400 yards to the "Chili Express" high speed ski lifts. Angel Fire is in a location referred to as the Enchanted Circle that includes three other ski locations Taos ski valley(30 miles), and Red River(22 Miles) and Sipa Pu(20 miles if Black Bear roadway is open). The condominium functions include three flat screen TELEVISION's all have dvd players. There is a 60 DVD library with a wide range for any ages. Little library of hardbound books and paperbacks. , if you take a paperback leave one please for the next visitor(please do not get rid of hardbound).. Cable television TV and complimentary WIFI web are available I will certainly give the password upon registration. There is a mountain view balcony off the bedroom, wood burning fireplace, complete kitchen area with all utensils and devices(consisting of dish washer), 2 full baths(one up & one down) The master features a queen size bed. The loft has 2 full and 2 twins. There is ample storage for belongings in the closet and dressers. There is a coin operated washer and clothes dryer in our building. The town has a variety of varied eateries and Lowe's, a fantastic brand-new supermarket that has competitive prices. While this is a ski resort the activities are year round. They include a PGA golf course, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, horse back mountain adventures, white water rafting on the Rio Grande and a brand-new Zip Line Tour. Taos includes one of the country's finest known art communities. In 1967 Doctor Westphal constructed the initial Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Angel Fire to recognize his kid who was killed in action.
