Enjoy your time away at this lovely, quaint & clean cabin on Lake Sanborn in Backus, MN. Pay attention to the Loons - and see the two eagles circle the lake - as you delight in coffee from the deck. Backus is located 40 minutes north of Brainerd. We are 2 miles from the Paul Bunyun Bike Trail, 10 miles from Hackensack (Bear Paws cinema, shops & flea market), and 20 miles from Walker, MN (numerous shops, dining establishments, & Northern Lights Casino). Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi River - 1 hour away. Lake Sanborn is a 233 acre lake - fantastic for swimming and fishing. The cabin (& bunk house) sleep 9 conveniently (plus extra queen couch sleeper and 2 cots). The primary level includes a more recent kitchen, eating area, living space w/stone fireplace, 1 room w/queen bed (dresser & vanity) and french doors, 1 bedroom w/full bed (dresser & vanity), washroom w/shower & tub and sink vanity. Take out sofa w/queen. Upstairs loft consists of 1 full bed, 1 twin bed, 2 cots and dresser - and portable air conditioning unit. Bunk home w/queen bed (different from primary cabin). Other Amenities:.Dock w/bench, canoe and 2 kayaks, range of life coats, hammock.Outdoor games: badminton, croquet, frisbees, footballs, 2 smaller sized bikes, some fishing supplies.Huge Variety of Indoor board games and lots of, numerous books.TELEVISION (no cable) - DVD/VCR player & films.WiFi.Portable Air Condition (upstairs loft space) and 2 fans.Boombox - CD/tape gamer.Charcoal grill, Fire Pit.Keurig, Coffee maker, toaster, blender.Pots, dishes & pans.Linens and towels consisted of - bring beach towels for swimming!
