There is a round yard outside your kitchen with seating and a phase for your events. The apartment is established for two and can accommodate 4 easily for visitors throughout events. There also is a private laundry-washer and dryer. The walk to Barton Springs has an alternative to go through the woods beside the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, down a rocky trail, which is literally a "woods course" straight into the spring-fed swimming pools around which Native Americans opted for millennia-- now the soul of Austin-- to bathe in the healing mineral spring water bubbling up into a huge pool and waterfall, the factor populations settled right here and drew the Austin settlement that became the heart of Texas-- put a towel around your neck and walk down for the experience. This comfy bungalow, fully geared up and provided, is perched on a high cliff above the entrance to Zilker Park, the website of Austin City Limits Live Music Fest ... and Restaurant Row with Austin's trademark restaurant, Chuy's-- serving low-cost, big Tex-Mex deluxe platters-- and their sibling restaurant, The Shady Grove, all within a stone's toss away. We prefer to say, "You're 5 minutes from 'everything Austin'..." and it is actually real. You can be in your seat at the Paramount Theatre in 10 minutes or stroll to Whole Foods World Hdqtrs just a mile throughout the food bridge on South Lamar.Despite this close proximately to downtown, the Bungalow is extremely close to nature-- you can bring your kayak to the waters of Town Lake (all right, Lady Bird Lake now)-- and stroll through the woods for a swim in The Springs, down the woods path in your swimwear right into the cool spring-fed waters through' pure nature ... Usually Rented by the month only-- no short-term rentals-- but we do consider bargains for the summertime weeks based on regular monthly rental terms opening June 2014.
