The primary floor consists of an updated, eat-in kitchen with more recent devices, the living-room, a full bath, kitchen, 2 bed rooms, and a small library area. The upper level contains 2 bigger bedrooms and another complete bath that were added in 1993. Upstairs rooms have skylights as well as moving doors that open onto a deck offering a remarkable view of the lake.A canoe and rowboat are offered for use at your very own risk. It is about a 2 mile walk to the center of Monterey where you will find the quaint Monterey General Store in addition to the library and the Monterey Post Office. Monterey is located about 10 minutes from Great Barrington, 20 minutes from Stockbridge and less than 30 minutes from Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow and the Berkshire Playhouse. A rental deposit in addition to the $500.00 down payment should be paid within 10 days of positioning your booking in order to assure accessibility.
