1890 Victorian mansion overlooks Lake Huron, on 4 acres, 1 minute to Free state boat launch recently dredged, in quaint fishing town, just S. of Caseville & Port Austin.Great fishing, hunting, get back to nature, birdwatching, close to beaches, parks, tourist attractions in Thumb Area of Michigan! This is a country Inn in a small town and not like staying at a hotel or motel. We have antiques through the house.Themed rooms, 2nd floor rooms $150 per night, sleep 2 guests, view of Lake Huron, Priv. bath. (Peacock room or Hawaiian Room)3rd floor Lighthouse Suite- entire 3rd floor $250 per night, sleeps 6-8 guests (2 bedrooms- 1 with queen antique brass bed, rollaway in room, other room with 2 full beds, rollaway), also that floor shares a full bathroom, living room with tv/dvd/cable tv, games/toys for kids, kitchenette with coffeemaker, toaster, microwave, small cube fridge, very rustic high beamed wood ceilings. Great view of area from 3rd floor & great bay view!We have lots of availability during Caseville's Cheeseburger Festival mid August every year! This year August 12-21, it is a Jimmy Buffet type festival, like Key West, but called Key North, margaritaville type thing. We even have the parade of fools on Wed., Aug 17th!Deposit is 1/2 of stay required upon making reservation, No Refunds. We have free WiFi (wireless internet)Inn is known to be haunted, No Refunds, No exceptions. Sleep with one eye open! We are in 6 haunted travel books & 1 documentary & have had tons of paranormal groups investigate here. Guests have lots of ghost activity/paranormal videos & pics on youtube & on our face book page! We are also on pinterest & twitter... So you have been warned before you make your reservation. Most of Inn is decorated in period antiques, wallpapers, hardwood floors, great wood accents throughout the home! Innkeepers live on the premises, so please respect our home & privacy. We do not allow any form of smoking inside the B, only e-cigarettes! Deluxe continental breakfast served at 10 a.m. unless other arrangements are made in advance. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions upon making your reservations.Check in time is after 6 p.m. (unless other arrangements can be agreed upon when you make your reservations)Check out time is 11 a.m. sharp, or same as above, or you will be charged for an extra day stay. We need time to get rooms ready for our next guests stay. Thank you!Our Inn has 2 dogs that will greet you when you arrive, which are outside.
