Come and enjoy your vacation or fishing journey in lakefront homes on beautiful Black Lake in northern New York, not far from the Thousand Islands and the St. Lawrence River. "The Happy Fisherman" is a friendly, family owned business that was one of the very first developed on Black Lake. An excellent state boat launch is simply a mile away and a grocery store, gas, bait, mini and deal with golf are offered close by. It has actually been owned and operated by the exact same family considering that 1918 with a few of our consumers now being the 4th generation. Stop in for a week or a few days to delight in some exceptional bass, walleye, pike and crappie fishing or swimming, water snowboarding and tubing. Our guests are always welcome at our evening campfires for "weenie roasts" or "smores". Or just sit and enjoy the stars and enjoy the moon increase across the bay. All camps are warmed and have a/c with evaluated porches. They have furnished kitchen areas with refrigerator, microwave and stove. Washrooms have showers. There are double beds with rollaway beds offered. Picnic tables with covers and grills are offered. Firewood for campfires furnished at no additional charge. Enclosed fish cleaning location. Free dockage in a secured bay for your individual boat. Pets are always welcome but need to be leashed and under control at all times. Costs $400 to $450 each week. Daily rentals also available, with a 3 day minimum.
