The Homestead Resort is surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore which was voted "the most gorgeous place in America" on August 17, 2011 by audiences of ABC Television's Good Morning America show. The condo sleeps 6 (king, queen, sofa bed) and includes a fully-equipped kitchen area, washer/dryer, HDTVs, Blu Ray gamer, free WiFi, two wood-burning fireplaces, and all linens. The condominium is found on a bluff neglecting Lake Michigan. RENTAL RATES SEP 2 - OCT 26: $1,200 / WEEK OR $200/NIGHT.RENTAL RATES OCT 27 - DEC 18: $900/WEEK OR $150/NIGHT.RENTAL RATES DEC 19 - JAN 4: $1,200 / WEEK OR $200/NIGHT. Summer leasings are generally for a complete week, normally Saturday to Saturday. There is a 2-night minimum on all leasings and rates are inclusive of all charges including linens. There is nearby shopping, fine and informal dining, galleries, activities for kids, performances, hiking, biking, winter snowboarding, great sunsets from the apartment deck and even more. Throughout the spring and summer season, there is canoeing/kayaking, swimming, sandy uncrowded beaches and numerous greens. Leelanau county has about 20 wineries to visit. The Interlochen Center for the Arts is a 40-minute drive and Traverse City is 35 minutes away. This is a non-smoking condominium and pets are not allowed (sorry).
