At the Minnewaska State Park Preserve! Leave your car in the driveway and walk directly into the park; no costs, no schedule. Simple, uncluttered, brought back 1880's "School Master House" has three rooms, large bath, full cooking area, reading room and fantastic room. Enjoy the huge fire pit in the lawn, grill over glowing coals, enjoy fireflies and delight in the stars. Neat and clean, full-time rental minutes from excellent dining establishments in High Falls, Gardiner, New Paltz and Marbletown. Completely furnished for a wonderful turn-key leasing. You need bring only your personal items and food/beverages for a remarkable mountain vacation. There is so much to do! You could climb up the "Gunks," hike actually hundreds of miles of Park Land trails, bike the historical carriageways, swim in Lake Minnewaska and Lake Awosting, test your abilities on a stone, photo incredible surroundings, check out an ancient rock shelter and enjoy hawks skyrocket effortlessly along the mountain ridge. On the Peterskill stream less than a mile away, you can shower in a waterfall, sun on the broad flat rocks or "chill out" in a glacial kettle formed countless years earlier by the melting glacier. Even closer, on the crest of the Trapps, you might greet the sunrise on a mountain crag or see a golden sunset over the Catskills. In the backyard you can roast S'mores on a stick, sing tunes by a campfire and swing in a hammock on the porch of "Slabsides Too"... there ares a private location to pitch a tent! Our rate is $200 daily with minimum stay of 4 days; $250 every day less than 4 days. Minimum remain two days, other than vacations minimum 3 days. You could start your rental period on any day depending upon other bookings. $200 down payment; $85 cleaning charge. A combination lock box holds your key; you could arrive at anytime. If you are remaining for more than one week, house cleaning will see on Wednesday. No smoking within, please; a cigar by the campfire is considered a treat. Sleeps 6 in three rooms; 2 full songs in one room and queen bed in master room. Inflated queen mattress bed on stand for two extra visitors in third bedroom/office. Optimum six persons.
