The Maids of Orleans is the original mine structure from the 1880's that sits 5 miles from the base of Keystone Ski Resort and on the backside of A-Basin. Drive through the woods straight to the cabin door. The property sits on 5 acres surronded by hundreds of acres of Forest Service land. The cabin is totaly of the grid with solar power, direct TV, hot water, propane refrigerator and a deck that overlooks Peru Creek and surrounded by beautiful 13K foot mountains and wilderness. The cabin boasts approx. 1400 square feet with a Master bedroom, loft that sleeps 4, and two bathrooms. Incredible hiking trails all around the property, and this area that brings one back to the Wild West mining days. This property is great for a small family retreat, romantic getaway, or two couple looking for a break from the City. A Forest Service dirt road takes you 1.3 miles to doorsteep of the cabin. Property has it's own artesian water well. Listen to the creek from the porch while grilling dinner on the wrap around deck or sit and read if a book.
