Description:

We have one week for rent at the Marriott Newport Coast Villas in Orange County. We have been going there for the past three years and love it as a perfect summer family getaway. We cannot use it this year as my son is going away to camp those weeks. The price ($2400) is for one full week of a luxury vacation rental (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer in the unit and 2 pull out couches) located on a majestic bluff overlooking Laguna Beach and the Pacific Ocean. The dates are for August 11, 2013 to August 18, 2013, seven nights total. Check in is at 4pm (but you can arrive early to enjoy the resort amenities) and check out is at 10am. We are owners so we have priority for requests for units with views (and the views are amazing). We have always gotten the units/views we have requested and presume that will be the case again this year. We usually start out our drive from home (Menlo Park) around 8am and are there in time for check in with a few stops along the way. Please read below for additional details. I can also answer any questions you have about the resort or nearby attractions and activities. Marriott Newport Coast Villas' Amenities include five outdoor pools, tennis, golf, extensive fitness center with a sauna and a steam room, five outdoor whirlpool hot tubs, walking and biking trails, barbecue areas, restaurant, convenience store and more The property is located between Corona del Mar and Laguna Beach, with the Fashion Island mall only a few miles away. The property has 4 or 5 pools (depending on how you count them!) & hot tubs at each pool location, a game room, basketball courts, putting green, a fire pit, daily/nightly activities and entertainment. There is a beach within walking distance, and Corona del Mar beach & Laguna Beaches are within a few miles. Both of these have easy parking and are great kid friendly beaches. We usually add a day at the beginning or end of the trip and book a cheap hotel (e.g. Hilton suites) near Legoland and/or Disney and add a visit there to the trip. While the property is close enough to visit either of those places as a day trip we hate to miss even a day of our time there because we love the property so much.
