Just close enough to see the water from the deck but not so close to be blasted by wind or salt spray. The kitchen is set up for cooking big meals while hanging out around the spacious kitchen island. An unexpected bonus was the outside bar on the back deck. Great place to light the candles, mix drinks and hang out. Loved the location with several restaurants and bars within walking distance. You could stay here after a trip to the market and never need to drive anywhere. Host was very responsive to our questions and special requests.We hope to stay here again on our next trip to St Augustine. "////]]>
