From our living-room, looking at those breaking waves (popular browsing off Otter Rock is a mile away), you may wonder why this biggest body of water on earth is called "Pacific". A great factor is it's moderating impact on climate. During summer heat waves inland, where temperature levels can get in to the 90s, it's common for the Oregon Coast to be in the 60s. Contrast to Inland Empire winters ares more dramatic. November & February temperatures of 70 are not uncommon! Breathtaking view *-- Yaquina Head Lighthouse to Cape Foulweather (Otter Crest). 2-bedroom/2-bath home built by my grandfather. Because we're too busy to routinely arrive, our company offer it as an escape to to others. Our house cleaning alternative (you bring linens & bath towels **) allows us to keep rates budget-friendly. Summer season: $100/night Sun-Thurs; $150/night Fri/Sat. Starting Oct. 1, Fall, Winter & Spring: $90/night Sun-Thurs; $120/night Fri/Sat. 5 % price cut for complete week. In addition, a single guest enjoys a 10 % discount; 5 % discount for a couple. We also provide short-notice discount rates-- 10 % within a month, 20 % within 2 weeks of arrival. No 1-night stays. Include 10 % for County & State taxes & $40 cleaning cost. ** We will certainly supply linens and bath towels for: $20 (1 or 2 guests-- 1 bed), $30 (3 or 4 guests-- 2 beds), $40 (5 or 6 visitors-- 3 beds). Pet dog deposit is $100, $80 refunded upon satisfying assessments of home & backyard following stay. While relaxing for just a couple, our 2-bedroom 2-bath, 760 SF home can rest as much as 8, including a bunk bed. Cooking area is totally furnished, consisting of dishwasher. Wi-Fi/Internet, cable, DVD. ONLY LISTED DATES ARE AVAILABLE. Arrival time first day is 4 pm.
