Free wifi and 190 channel flat screen cable TV in the family room, with an additional cable TV in one bedroom. Take a stroll on the secluded Jamaica Beach. Fly a kite or listen to the waves. View spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Enjoy a full range of amusements at Pleasure Pier, Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens, the historic Strand with shops and dining, some of the best birding sites in the nation, year-round golf courses and some of the best fishing anywhere. The house had everything we needed from the kitchen utensils to the linens for the bedrooms. We also love the deck box that had chairs for the men to use when they went fishing or for on the beach. We also loved the rocking chairs on the porch where we sat many hours just talking and enjoying the breeze! We loved the peacefulness and friendliness of the neighbors and the neighborhood as we took walks in the evenings. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking for a Great place to stay that's not far from the beach and close enough to Galveston if you wanted to dine out or just see the sights. We will be coming back to stay here again!
