FEATURES:. Our cottages are totally furnished and found, on the Lower Wisconsin Riverway. Central heating and a/c. Artesian well. Two bed room cottages featuring a full kitchen, washroom with shower, outdoor shaded lounge location with picnic table, and firepit. Entirely furnished with: coffee machine, microwave, toaster, food preparation utensils, silverware, dishes, sheets, pillows, spreads and blankets, bath towels (one set per guest), TELEVISION, DVD, fridge with top freezer, range, and oven. All you should have to bring are your very own food, beverages, beach towels, dishcloths, personal toiletries and a spirit to have a good time ... simply a quick trip to the neighboring establishment and you are readied to unwind. TOURIST ATTRACTIONS:. Eagle and Bird Watching (across the river from Ferry Bluff State Natural Area-owned by The Nature Conservancy). Fantastic fishing (bluegill, northern, muskie, crappie, catfish, walleye). Water Access - bring your own canoe or kayak to our backyard shoreline. Strolling range to Blackhawk River Runs canoe rental and brand-new public Boat Landing. Nearby (4 miles) authentic Wisconsin pubs and supper clubs, treking trails, public pool, antique stores, ice and live bait, film leasing, huge clean laundromat, supermarket, gasoline station, Mcfarlanes True Value Hardware and firestone tires, churches, bowling, parks with play ground devices. Approx. 5 miles from Lake Wisconsin Golf Course. 20 miles north is the Wisconsin Dells, theme park and attractions. 20 miles east is the capital city of Madison with fantastic home entertainment and shopping. Approx. 20 miles south is Tyrol Basin Sea Resort, Cave of the Mounds and Military Ridge Bike Trail. Our goal is to provide a location where couples can go to construct lasting memories of their time together. HOME RATES:. Inspect in at 4:00 pm / Check out at 11:00 am. $139 per night (optimal 4 grownups) plus 5.5 % WI Sales Tax. 2 night minimum. POLICIES. By putting a reservation with us you accept these policies: Campfires allowed only in our fire rings. To fish on the WI River a fishing license is required, which can be purchased in your area. Wisconsin River Retreat reserves the right to refuse service to any individual. We will not be delegated accidents or injuries to our guests. Swim at your own risk, respect the river. No pets or cigarette smoking allowed. When you make your reservation (1 or 2 couples) are able to stay at Wisconsin River Retreat throughout your time with us, just those who you sign up.
