Back in 1894, a guy called John McCann decided to move his family to the city of Fayette County. He acquired a one acre lot on West Third Street and invested 3 years $ 18,000 into building a 5,800 sq foot Colonial Revival Mansion with every modern convenience. Gracious curved glass windows over the front door, completed in 1905, were the completing touch. The residence changed hands often times and suffered indescribable neglect, however luckily, all the subsequent owners were limited in funds, so all of the initial functions survived. We bought the estate in disrepair in 2000 and remodelled it to historic sophistication with contemporary features. We have actually enjoyed the restoration procedure of conserving our home, and love to share it. It appears to have actually been developed for amusing and we doing this frequently; four weddings have even been held in the front hall in the previous 13 years!
