My teammate and I are renting a large house near Lake Placid from July 19-24th to compete in Ironman Lake Placid 2012! We are mid 20s males both competing in our first Ironman Triathlon, and not looking to go crazy during the week.Through everything we have had a couple of people drop out and we have 1-2 rooms available for rent. The rooms will be private, and you will be with other athletes and family, it will be quite and calm for the week as we all prepare for the race.We will be staying here, at the Colden Lodge:http://www.adirondackvacations.com/otherlodgings.htmlIt is secluded, plenty of parking, private beach access, lake front, large kitchen, plus a couple of kitchenettes, etcWe have already sent in the rent for the home and are looking for $400 per person in the house.
