Grab a bargain and enjoy a wonderful mini-vacation July 9, 2011, Saturday night in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa at the spectacular and renowned HYATT HIGHLANDS INN on the Pacific Ocean at the gateway to Big Sur, just south of famous Carmel, California, next to Point Lobos State Park and near Pebble Beach! It doesn't get better than this!The price is inclusive with no additional taxes, housekeeping fees, etc. You are only responsible for meals and incidentals you charge to your villa.The resort has only five 2-bedroom units (only 4 with a view) and this villa has a nice ocean view. These villas typically rent for $1000+ per night plus taxes.Your 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse-style villa has over 1200 sq. ft. of total luxury, with two master suites and ocean view from both bedrooms and the living area. The villa has a large deck (with glorious sunset views), wood-burning fireplace (with wood provided and ready to light), cable TV (and DVD player), full kitchen with granite counters (high-end appliances and dishware), king bed in each master suite and very large baths with double whirlpool tubs in each and separate showers. The living area has a pull-out queen-size sleeper sofa. Hence, the villa sleeps up to 6.Hyatt staff will pamper you with full daily maid service, a great concierge, room service, and his and her plush robes in each bedroom! I could go on forever about this place!The Highlands Inn has been a renowned California lodge since 1917, frequented by the rich and famous. Hyatt spent untold millions to make it their premier U.S. property. It has a grand lodge-style lobby (like a national park) with fireplaces burning each night, wonderful rotating art exhibits, live music in the lobby bar, with spectacular sunsets over the Pacific Ocean. There are 2 restaurants: Pacific Edge serves dinner and is consistently ranked among the Top 10 restaurants in the U.S. by Wine Spectator (with a spectacular wine list) and in the Top 100 restaurants in the U.S. by Zagat. The California Market serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner on a patio with unbelievable views over the ocean and Big Sur coastline. The Inn is composed of several buildings clinging to the hillside over the ocean and has gorgeous gardens with endless flowers, a large heated free-form pool, several hot tubs strategically located amid foliage around the 15-acre property, a new fitness center, and free bicycles to ride along the Pacific coast.National Geographic named Big Sur as one of the Top 50 places in the world a person should visit in a lifetime! Carmel has exquisite art galleries, over 60 fabulous restaurants, Pebble Beach golf course, and a gorgeous white sand beach.
