This 1880's Eastlake Victorian has over 3,000 square feet of living area. There are three enormous bedrooms, all with king-sized beds. One room has a personal bath and the two bedrooms in the upstairs suite share a bath and balcony. The whole compound has access to wifi and there are 2 bed rooms that have tvs with expanded cable television. There is a huge living room/gallery space, with special furnishings, rotating art work displays featuring local artists and a grand piano. The spacious kitchen has marble counter tops, all utensils and appliances and adjoins a spacious dining-room which has ten windows overlooking the yards. An utility room and half-bath are available from the kitchen. The Victorian has a covered front porch and covered wrap-around back porch, both of which are best for unwinding, chatting, sipping a beverage or simply enjoying the world pass. This 2008 Austin Heritage Society Award Recipient is found in a quiet area near Capital Metro Transit bus lines and is within strolling range to the Convention Center, Sixth Street, Downtown and Lady Bird Lake. Small, friendly pet dogs are welcome with owner permission. Rental is $475/night for approximately 6 guests ($2992.50 / week); extra guests are $20/per night, per individual; $100/cleaning cost; 15 % hotel tax; refundable security deposit needed. Two night minimum stay. Celebration rates readily available upon request. We are certified with the City of Austin.
