The views from the rooftop gazebo are amazing, and the gazebo has been furnished and decorated with comfort and relaxation in mind!!!! The 3 level side by side duplex is capable of comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests. "Someplace Special" has an awesome first floor living space which is fully equipped with a separate kitchen, living area, bedroom and bathroom. The first floor area is part of the 4 bedroom home, but feels like a separate space and is the perfect place for kids or grownups that may want to remove themselves from the activities of the other guests!! The living room portion is equipped with a flat screen HDTV, the kitchen portion has a full size fridge and the bedroom offers a queen size bed. The bathroom offers a bathtub/shower combo. There are very few properties in Carolina & Kure Beach that offer a room such as this!! The second floor offers 2 additional bedrooms including the large master. The master bedroom is equipped with a king size bed, flat screen HDTV and full bath with shower and his/her vanities. The master bedroom also has a private deck with ocean views. The second bedroom offers a queen bed, private bath with shower/tub combo and flat screen HDTV. In addition, you will find the laundry with full size washer/dryer on the second level. The top floor offers the living/dining/kitchen combination. This room offers a large open floor plan and is very well appointed with fantastic furnishings, large HDTV. The kitchen is outfitted with granite counters and custom tile back splash. The flooring is custom hardwood and the views from the ocean view deck are fantastic!! This floor offers the 4th bedroom, bunk bed with twin over full. There is additional sleeping offered in the bunks pullout trundle. You will find that this room offers a flat screen HDTV as well! The full bathroom offers a stand up shower. "Someplace Special" is located in the heart of Carolina Beach and is just a short (two blocks) walk away from the beautiful ocean. Besides the many attractions at the Boardwalk, the North Carolina Aquarium will provide hours of fun for the kids. There are many delicious places to eat, here on Pleasure Island. If you can only pick one, go by Britt's Donuts for a yummy treat! Take in the amazing Thursday Night Fireworks from the rooftop gazebo. We are close enough to all the attractions yet far enough away to enjoy quiet relaxation.
