Located in a quiet neighborhood near the south end of Tybee Island, this delightful beach-chic cottage with two newly renovated one-bedroom apartments is only two blocks from the beach and the grocery store.Our off-season rate (September 1 - February 29) is just $50 per night per apartment, plus hotel/motel taxes and a $50 cleaning fee. One or two extras are $10/person/night. Payment is easily handled through PayPal.The upstairs and downstairs apartments are loaded and tastefully decorated beach-chic style. These cute and cozy one bedroom apartments have a combined kitchen, living room and dining area. Each living area has a full sized futon couch that can sleep two. The bedrooms of each accommodate a queen size bed with a comfortably firm mattress and both have spacious closets, suitcase stands and hat/coat racks. Two easy chairs are made for relaxing, reading or watching the wall mounted television, which has DVD and VHS capabilities. Stainless steel appliances fully equip each kitchen. Upstairs the large bar/counter seats up to six on modernistic red stools and the bathroom has an extra long bathtub that doubles as a shower. Downstairs a small mosaic dining table seats four and the bathroom has a shower. The screened front porch upstairs has two rockers while downstairs two wrought iron cushioned chairs provide just the right place for a relaxing finish to your day in the sun. A window unit offers plenty of heat during cold months and plenty of cold air conditioning in the summer. Washer and dryer are provided.On the south facing wall is a delightfully lovely ocean life mural painted by world renowned artist Mary Jane Volkmann.
