3bedroom home in north central Arkansas, located in a peaceful country setting on a working cattle farm amid rolling hills. This home is not fancy and not right on the water which makes it a lot less expensive than renting a big waterfront home. It is clean and only 5 miles to Lake Norfork boat ramp. There are also miles of country roads for 4-wheeler fun.Experience the peace and quiet of the country relaxing on the huge front porch or you can choose from several recreations close to this location. Enjoy fishing , swimming, skiing or just boating and picnicking on beautiful Norfork lake. If you are into geocaching there are many easy as well as difficult finds scattered around. Movies, shopping and restaurants are located in Mountain Home which is only 25 miles away. Mountain View, where you can experience the singing at the courthouse lawn, shopping for local crafts and antiques or visit the Folk Center and experience the craftsmanship of past generations, are only 35 miles away. Blanchard Springs Caverns are also located in the Mountain View area. Norfork dam, river and fish hatchery are only a short drive or you might enjoy a float trip on Norfork river or White river.This is the first year we are offering this as a vacation rental and we are still working toward having it ready for this summer. I can email more pictures later.Regular summer rates: 1week- $500.00 ; 3 day week-end (as available) - $250.00 ; $ 200.00 refundable security/cleaning deposit; maximum 6 people. We arent taking credit cards but checks and cash work fine. House is fully furnished just bring your food and cooking supplies and have a wonderful time.
