We have two creek side cabins that sleep 2 and one cabin with a loft that sleeps 3 located in the Nantahala Community just feet from the Nantahala National Forest. Enjoy peace and quiet while you are surrounded with the wonder of the changing seasons of the NC Mountains. Sit on the cabin's deck or relax in the hot tub, while listening to the flow of Otter Creek just feet from the front door of the cabin. Cabins are furnished with queen size beds (plus twin in cabin with loft), linens, satellite TV, frig with icemaker, MW, H, W on premises. All cabins have full kitchen and bath. Fires in the outside fire pits are permitted.Cabins are 3 miles from the rushing Nantahala River which provides some of the best Rainbow Trout fishing and whitewater kayaking or rafting in all of North Carolina. Bring your own boat or rent a pontoon boat and fish, picnic or water ski on the gorgeous Lake Nantahala a little further down the road. Only a short drive from the cabins is the Smoky Mountain Railroad and the Nantahala Outdoor Center, a favorite hangout for hikers or kayakers, as well as several outfitters for whitewater rafting or kayaking. The Appalachian and Bartram Trails are just a mile from the cabins and offer unbelievable hiking and nature experiences.
