Your home away from house is at the Lion's Gate Pines Lodge in downtown Winter Park, within walking distance of many restaurants and stores. The resort features a heated outdoor pool and two jacuzzis, a recreation space, laundry center, cordless net, and hassle-free access to downtown and numerous location activities. The resort is just 67 miles from Denver with the charm of the Continental Divide towering around you. Winter season Park is the mountain cycling capital of Colorado, with fantastic tracks in all directions, plus a fantastic paved trail along the Fraser River for the entire family (that goes on for miles). There are fantastic hiking tracks, also, for all capabilities. Local outfitters provide river rafting journeys on the Colorado River for the day. The Winter Park ski area base also provides the longest mountain alpine slides in Colorado (2 of them), miniature golf, a huge maze for the whole family, climbing walls, and other activities. Gorgeous Grand Lake (Colorado's largest natural lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks) and Rocky Mountain National Park (with endless wildlife and look ats) are only a brief range away, as is Blackhawk for little stakes betting. The device sleeps approximately 8 and hases more than 1700 square feet. It features 3 rooms, 21/2 baths, a full cooking area, living area, dining area, and gas fireplace. The bedroom has a king bed, while each of the other 2 bedroom has 2 single beds, and the living location has a queen pull-out sleeper couch. The Lion's Gate Pines Lodge is at 55 Lion's Gate Road in Winter Park, Colorado 80482, one block off of Highway 40 in downtown Winter Park.
