Stay in our cozy rustic log home Bed & Breakfast with long range views out of EVERY window of the home. Weekday rates start at $79/nt for 2 in our standard room with private bath and deck. 2-nt minimum. We also have a 1-bedroom suite [2 rooms], or a 2-bedroom suite [3 rooms] available. Rates include a delicious full breakfast prepared by the owner who is a professional chef. Wi-Fi, satellite TV and a movie library available.We are located in the area of Jonas Ridge, just off the Parkway, between Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls. There is excellent hiking all around us as well as numerous places to rent horses to go trail riding, the closest is right in the neighborhood at http://allwaysridingstables.com. You need to call ahead and make reservations if you wish to ride horses.There are also several places that take groups whitewater rafting, and 3 Ziplines to enjoy. On the quieter side there are plenty of places to take long walks with your dog. Visit Linville Caverns, go Gem Mining, or visit Blowing Rock. What ever you do, you will find restaurants all over from fast food, to country food to gourmet.So, if you have some time off and want to get away to a place where life goes at a slower pace and you don't have to deal with traffic, come to the mountains and take advantage of our midweek rates starting at $79/nt good thru September 30.
