New cabin rental! We have decided to share our little piece of paradise. If you are a hunter/fisherman/bike rider/hiker/horeseback rider/nature lover then you have found the perfect little cabin in the woods. Our cabin is non-smoking will sleep up to 8 with 2 queen beds in loft, 3 twin bunks. Dogs are okay as long as they have been treated for fleas and are house trained. (there is a kennel outside also) The cabin has a full kitchen, stove, fridge and microwave, full bath with shower. You will need to bring your own bedding, towels and drinking water (our water system is rain water, can be used only for bathing and dishes not drinking!) The living room has a t.v. with dvd's, radio/c.d. player, window a.c. & wood stove. Outside you have a firepit, picnic table and are only steps away from thousands of acres of hunting/hiking & biking. There are several lakes nearby Lake Hope is a 10-15 min. drive, Lake Alma, Lake Rupurt, Fox Lake and Lake Snowden are a short drive. History is alive in these woods/ Moonville Tunnel is a 10 min drive on beautiful forest roades, covered bridges abound and the quilt barns are simply amazing! The roads are great for motorcycle riding and there are plenty of quaint taverns and restaurants around. Athens is a 20 min. drive, Old Man's cave approx. 30 min away. Why stay in a stuffy hotel room when you can have all this? Couples or families only please, this rental is not a party house. We are renting for $80.00 per night with a $100.00 damage deposit (we will keep your personal check and return it if cabin is left in same condition as when you came) accepting money orders or cash only at this time.
