Our comfy, light basement double bedroom / bathroom suite has a desk and simple chair. A perfect base for fishing, tubing, snowboarding Sunlight, or Aspen, capturing bike trails and from which to discover the town - and whole Roaring Fork Valley. In basement of a condo. Double bed. Usually we can arrange for a shared kitchen area and laundry upstairs. If not, we would offer a good price cut. Square footage is approximate. Minimum 1 month rental. Energies, wireless net and cable hook-up included. The major house is for lease individually. It's about 2000 sf and comfortably sleeps 5 with 2 large bedroom/BA suites, a single air mattress in alcove, and an additional 1/2 bath. Very comfortable and huge fantastic room with dining location, fireplace and large well-equipped kitchen area. Guest Access. Visitors will have off street parking, river access, ping pong table in the garage, wi fi, and hook-up for direct tv. Communication with Guests. I look forward to welcoming you and telling you everything you want to understand to get oriented to the Roaring Fork Valley. The Neighborhood. I enjoy the easy availability to the river, the bike trails and to town. I enjoy strolling, running, cycling into town and tubing down the river beginning right below your home. The cycling right here is great. Among my favorite jaunts is toward Aspen to Woody Creek Tavern, or with Glenwood Canyon. Carbondale, a remarkable town, is a simple 10 mile drive or bike away. I love to pay attention to excellent music at Steve's or PAC3in Carbondale and at River's Restaurant, right across the bridge from my house, on Friday nights. The hiking close by is limitless and incredible. Of course, everyone loves the big Hot Springs pool, simply a mile or 2 away - however there are natural springs in the river and way cool vapor caves nearby also. Sunshine ski Area is about 20 minutes away - and sweet. Aspen skiing is about 45 minutes away. Getting around. The bus around town is 1/2 block far from my residence and costs $1. There's also outstanding bus service up valley to Carbondale, Basalt, the ski areas and Aspen -with a new depot a 5 minute stroll away. If you're coming from Denver, a truly fun thing to do is take the train here. There's a number of taxis around. You have to ask for service.
