The Rustic Cottages consists of nineteen old tahoe-style homes, all with private washrooms. Originally the sawmill and labor camp of the Brockway Lumber Company, the home was converted to vacation homes in 1925. Our homes are all different-- each with its own appeal and modern benefits. The Rustic Cottages is centrally located on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, throughout the street from the lake-- and simply a stone's toss away from a sandy beach and the water's edge.
