Another deck also opens from the living room creating a great woodsy, campy experience in the comfort of a well equipped cabin in the woods.Swim, kayak (2 available for guests), fish, ski and enjoy one of the cleanest, most beautiful lakes in the US. Bring your boat and launch at Cherokee National Forest Boat Launch, one mile away, then tie up in cove. Our floating dock is located in the 'community cove', 150 yrds down the road from the cabin. The cove is easily accessible, great for sunning, swimming, fishing, etc. A small BBQ (on the dock) and an ice chest of your favorite beverages and you'll have a perfect day on the lake!Come enjoy this unique hideaway for a romantic weekend or family and friends vacation. Numerous attractions are nearby. Thirty minutes to Boone, NC or Johnson City, TN. With snow skiing and winter sports nearby and a big stone fireplace, you will enjoy the cabin for a great winter retreat!
