Here is the deal... I love to travel, and I won this trip off a military auction site. I am not a travel agent, and I do not have any other information other than what was listed on the auction. However, due to life changes (my wife is pregnant) I will not be able to go on this awesome trip that I had planned. The resort has a reservation time of 180 days after the auction was won, I won on Mon Jan 28 23:54:18 2013. This means the winning bidder has around two months to decide when they would like to go, and the winning bidder would need to complete their stay within a a year of Jan 28 2014. It's the typical castle of the colonial times, with cannons, dungeon and drawbridge. It also has a historical special interest. In this castle, Luisa Caceres de Arismendi, was also locked for some days, before she was sent to La Guaira. When you go to Margarita, don't miss visiting this castle. You'll love it.PampatarPampatar lies 10 km (6 mi) northeast of Porlamar. A coastal town which was founded 1552. Its strategic importance becomes clear when visiting the Castillo de San Carlos de Borromeo on the waterfront in the center of town. Constructed entirely of coral, the fort, built by the Spanish in 1662 after the original was destroyed by the Dutch. In the center of town is the Iglesia Santisimo Cristo or Iglesia del Cristo del Buen viaje, which features a bell tower with an outside staircase - an architectural oddity found on several churches on Isla Margarita.
