Pino's and tons of snow-play and sledding options throughout the Mountain) ... all surrounded by the Chumash Wilderness located within the Los Padres National Forest. A beautiful 9-hole PGA executive golf course is here, along with a nicely equipped kid-friendly park, loads of un-crowded hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding rentals, a seasonal community pool, and a quaint alpine Village with several restaurants and antique/gift shops; and all just a short distance away (less than an hour from Bakersfield, about an hour from the San Fernando Valley, an hour and a half from Ventura/Santa Maria. two hours from Santa Barbara/SLO area). There's no traffic here (very few tourists), no stop lights, no street lights, just wonderful mountain views and vistas and lots of fresh mountain air. And we're closer than Big Bear, Lake Arrowhead, Mammoth and Tahoe and just as beautiful!
