Our rental home is on a peaceful roadway of huge, private summer houses at the northern end of the lake. The cottage is tastefully and easily furnished. There is a personal dock for boating and swimming. The deck has a picnic table and gas grill and our screened porch has a wicker, table and glider rockers. The hammock in the front backyard is in between two tulip trees. Our living-room has a new couch bed, cable television TV, DVD, 2 lounge chairs and table overlooking the lake. The two rooms have a/c; bathroom with shower. Towels, including beach towels, are provided. The helpful cooking area has a big refrigerator/freezer, glass food preparation top and self-cleaning oven, microwave, dishwasher, disposal, toaster, mixer, blender, waffle maker, coffee machine and everything you would require in a cooking area. The eating island is solid cherry and an antique chandelier is overhead. We have a washer and clothes dryer, a must for a stay at the lake! Each room has electric baseboard heat with individual thermostats, once more a should at our high altitude. WiFi, books, games, volleyball, badmitten, croquet, binoculars, and life vest are available. Boat launching, lighted tennis courts and a play ground are in our town park which is less than 2 miles away. Chautauqua Lake Marina 2 miles down the lakeshore leases all kinds of watercrafts. The owners live on the same 2 acres and are readily available if there is a trouble. We are 5 minutes from world famous Chautauqua Institution. Midway Amusement Park for children neighbors and Bemus Point provides outdoor shows on a drifting phase and leases party watercrafts. Even when it rains, there are lots of wineries, shop shops, Amish house industries, restaurants and antique shops to visit. This location is ideal for swimming, boating, treking and biking. Our personal two acres is a stunning, quiet spot on the lake. We lease only by the week in July and August and by the week or weekend in the spring and fall. The fall is beautifull right here with lovely foliage and the off season rates are substantially less.
