UNIT SIZE AND QUALITY: *****(5 Stars). This oversized, one bedroom condo has 655 square feet of space to enjoy. The condo is a corner unit and is located on the top floor of Expedition Station. It has vaulted ceilings and spectacular mountain views. Enjoy a great nights sleep on the brand-new king sized bed with luxurious bedding that was purchased in July 2010. The living room and the bedroom have cable TV and DVD players. The living room also features a gas fireplace and sleeper sofa that will sleep two additional people. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the essentials to cook a meal away from home with pots and pans, silverware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, and blender. Four people can sit comfortably at the dining room table and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and ski slopes. To make the condo child friendly, all of the electrical outlets have covers. There is also a portable crib and lightweight stroller, so you dont have to pay to bring those items on the plane or pack them in the car. You will also enjoy the large selection of DVDs and games to play with the family in the condo (e.g. Scrabble, Monopoly, Jenga, Catch Phrase, Checkers, Chess, Dominoes, and puzzles). VIEWS **** (5 Stars) This condo features views of the ski slopes and the Gore mountain range from the balcony. From the master bedroom and living room windows, you will see the ski slopes. PROXIMITY TO ACTIVITIES **** (4 Stars) When you exit Expedition Station, you will have a 1-2 minute walk to excellent businesses including restaurants, shopping, bars, winter and summer sports rentals, and great people watching. It is also approximately 150 meters to the new high speed eight passenger gondola. In your ski boots and carrying your skis, it will take about five minutes to get to the gondola. BUILDING QUALITY AMENITIES *****(5 Stars) Expedition Station was completed in the late 90s and is one of the more exclusive buildings in the resort. This means there is less congestion in the building during busy times and all units are a short walk from the elevators. There are two high speed elevators that service 91 units. There is an access controlled, underground heated garage. Laundry facilities are located on every level of Expedition Station. Expedition Station has a spacious lobby with large, gas fireplace, sitting area, game tables, and a pool table. This building also features a heated pool , 8-person hot tub, steam room, and fitness room. The heated pool is only utilized by guests staying at Expedition Station. It is not shared with any other buildings. The pool and hot tub have views of the Gore Mountain Range. This unit is professionally managed for the owner by Summit County Mountain Retreats.
