The resort is approximately 25 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Pier Park and 10 minutes from St. Andrews State Park. Super Wal-Mart, Dollar Tree, fast food restaurants and Ripley's are .5 mile away. Club La Vela, Spinnaker, 3 Brother's Pizza, Hershey's Ice Cream, Wendy's, Subway, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Ms. Newby's bar, convenience stores and gift shops all within a few blocks.Unit: The unit is on the sixth floor, overlooking the pool, with a great ocean view. One wall is covered in windows, with one window panel extending from floor-to-ceiling. It has one bathroom, a walk-in closet, fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, kitchen stocked with kitchenware, dining room, sitting area, queen bed and queen pullout couch (sleeps 4). Central AC/heat, water, electricity, cable TV, DVD and VCR provided.Resort: Top of the Gulf Resort is located directly on the sugar white sand of the Gulf Lagoon Beach and the emerald water of the Gulf of Mexico.Amenities: The complex has an olympic-size pool, kiddy pool, sun decks, grills, shuffleboard, a pool-side snack bar (open most days during the summer), laundry room, game room, exercise room, wifi lounge and secure parking.My Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort unit is less than two miles away so we leave Edgewater pool tags in the unit for you to access Edgewater's extensive amenities below as well.AMENITIESPools: Throughout the resort, guests have access to 11 swimming pools, 6 reflecting ponds, 4 whirlpools and a Polynesian-style Lagoon Pool, which offers an open surface area and elaborate system of waterfalls and islands within the pool. The Lagoon Pool is located right off the beach and is enhanced with 45,000 square feet of deck space along with fiber optic lighting. Pool tags will be provided to give guests access to the pools and resort.Golf: Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort has two great golf courses--36 holes surrounded by water and challenging sand traps. Visit the Pro Shop for more information on pricing, equipment rentals, lessons and tee times.Tennis: There are six all-weather plexicushion tennis courts, with lighting for night play. Lessons and tennis activities for children also available. Step benches, jump ropes, exercise balance balls, tension cords, mats and hand weights are available. The class schedule varies seasonally and includes aerobics, yoga, pilates, step classes and toning, as well as a water aerobics class taught in the Lagoon Pool. Pick from massage, body wrap, body exfoliation, and foot therapy options. The spa is located in The Club, where you can go for more information on services and pricing.Resort Activities: Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort offers a fun-filled monthly calendar of activities for guests of all ages (activities vary by month and most take place during the summer). Monthly activities include tie-dying, beach volleyball, poolside bingo, ice cream socials, hula hoop and limbo contests. The full rental payment is due at least 30 days prior to check-in. We accept credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Chase QuickPay and personal checks. Any damage to the unit must be reported to the owner upon arrival to be documented and avoid possible liability. The $150 damage deposit will be refunded within 30 days of check-out if nothing is missing or damaged.Cancellations: If you cancel outside 14 days of check-in, a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed.
